Guitarist Tom Morello from Rage Against The Machine has a new band, called Street Sweeper, with Boots Riley from political hip hop group The Coup. The band’s debut album is recorded, and the single Fight! Smash! Win! can be heard at streetsweepermusic.com. Scottish-American musician David Byrne, known best for being a founding member of the Talking Heads, has summed up the future of the music industry: changes in the past decade have reduced the value of its services to artists. Israeli artist Kutiman has developed a new project called ThruYou, which combines samples from a wide range of uploaded videos on Youtube, and remixes the sounds to make full compositions.
