The Bad Plus Releases Cover Album ‘For All I Care’

Jazz power-trio The Bad Plus has released their newest album For All I Care. Covering bands like Nirvana (hence the name of the album), Pink Floyd, Yes and Russian composer Stravinsky, the band adds singer Wendy Lewis to add her alt-rock voice to the rock n’ roll, jazz and classical fusion.

Bassist Reid Anderson says:

“Classical music doesn’t have to be approached from the vantage point of how sophisticated it is. Jazz doesn’t have to be seen as so complicated, and even the simplest pop or rock tune doesn’t have to be looked down on. It’s a big, wide world out there and it’s nice to explore all the nooks and crannies.”
